emacs23 for Windows

If the above link for emacs23 binaries fails please visit the EmacsW32 project and download the link titled Download only latest Emacs unpatched as a zip file.

After you download the above binaries, extract emacs-22.3-barebin-i386.zip and place the file emacs/bin/libxpm.dll in the same location that you extracted emacs23. This will enable the XPM graphics support needed for emacs. This is the only external dependency required.

emacs will read either emacs or .emacs from the APPDATA directory. This directory can be printed from within Factor by application-data .
