Concatenative IRC channel

The #concatenative channel on irc.freenode.net is a place to chat about concatenative languages, mostly Factor. If you do not have an IRC client but you do have Factor, then you can run Factor's own IRC client using the following command:

"irc.ui" run

Channel etiquette:

  • Try to be nice.
  • We generally tolerate off-topic discussion, but try to keep it related to programming at least.
  • Don't paste long snippets of code in the channel, use the Pastebin instead.
  • Try to speak in coherent sentences. Avoid 'u', 'r', '2' and other AOLspeak abbreviations.

Regulars:

  • slava
  • erg - Factor contributor
  • doublec - Factor contributor
  • littledan - Factor contributor
  • johnnowak - working on his own Concatenative language, called 5th
  • crc - RetroForth developer
  • cpst - doesn't use concatenative languages but likes to talk about compilers
  • dons - ditto
